Subject : APY SOP for Financial, Non-Financial Modifications etc. — reg.

Respected Sir/ Madam,

This is regarding implementation of upgraded APY (Atal Pension Yojana) Module in the Post Offices. Till now, only new APY enrolment/ registration and initial / subsequent contribution were available in the Finacle through APY enabled CBS POs (NPS — Lite Collection Centres). With the implementation of the upgraded module, the Financial, Non-Financial modifications, Exit (Voluntary/ Death) etc. would also be possible through respective POs only. The APY SOP for Financial, Non-Financial Modifications etc. is enclosed

The respective APY patch has already been deployed in production since 24.08.2020. The Circles are requested to implement the upgraded APY module in letter & spirit for servicing the APY customers in better manner and to minimize customer grievances, if any. Operational issues, if any, faced in actual implementation of the Module in POs may be conveyed to this office to further needful.
