SOP for handling of PLI - RPLI death claim cases - Postal Life Insurance, Department of Posts

Standard Operating Procedure for handling of PLI and RPLI Death Claim Cases has been released by the PLI Direcotrate vide letter No PLI DIRECTORATE NO. 25-04/SOP/2020-LI DATED 18.08.2020

With the release of the SOP the PLI Directorate also released the standard set of forms to be used by the customer and CPC for the various purpose.

Below is the official SOP and set of latest forms for public use.

The procedure of handling of application and handling of death claim cases are clearly mentioned in the SOP. In spite of this the time taken for procedure is also mentioned clearly and given below for ready reference.
